New wonders simple stamping card

There is something very satisfying when it comes to #simplestamping
Just card ink and paper.

And this stamp set lends itself to this principle so well

Magnolia Lane Multi page card

I am back with another project that I had the privilege of being taught by the super talented Samantha Hammond Donald Aka Pootles at last weekends crafty retreat.
At the retreat we made Christmas card versions but I decided to recreate it as a thank you card for this blog .

The Luisa gift bag

The idea for this gift bag came when myself and my niece/goddaughter and I were having one of our crafty afternoons. My niece loved the little black handbag that I made last week but was keen to make one to her liking. So we started talking and I came up with a drawing of the bag she was describing whilst keeping it simple enough for her to make (she is only 9 years old)
And this is the end result .......

And we named it after her  the Luisa Bag !

Feels like frost Christmas card

Today’s card has taken me by surprise as I am normally one for a more traditional look but I absolutely love how this card has turned out.
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=view&id=1ADvw9nkomWRXxxgIcD1ym17LFjkyJwM-

To make this card I started with a standard card base in whisper white.
I then created my 1st layer in the new incolour purple posy cut at 3 7/8” x 5 5/8”
With the beautiful Feels like frost DSP I cut a panel to 2 1/4” x 5 3/8” and applies it using glue to the right hand side of my card.
For my sentiment I used vellum cut side my big shot and the stitched nested labels dies. Sing my stamperatus I stamped my sentiment in stazon ink.
Before affixing the the sentiment I swirled some silver metallic thread and fixed it to my card using mini stampin dimensionals.
I then mounted the sentiment on mini stampin dimensionals to give the card some volume and
Texture.
To finish the card I added some basic rhinestones.

I hope you love this card as much as I do
Love Kayla
