Kayla’s crafty creations : Butterfly card

Today’s card is made using the beautiful day stamp set and the strong and beautiful stamp set

To make this card I printed the butterfly image on whisper white card 3 times using momento black ink. I them coloured each butterfly using the light and dark coloured stampin’ blends pens in the following colours

Seaside spray

Mint macaron

& rococo rose

Before fussy cutting each one out. I then created a Matt in seaside spray measuring 3 7/8” x 5 1/2”

And a Matt in whisper white measuring 3 5/8” x 5 1/4”.

I arranged the butterflies mounted on stampin dimensionals then trimmed to the size of the whisper white matt. To display my sentiment I cut a piece of vellum to 3 1/4”x 1 1/4” before stampin the sentiment in stazon black ink.

The card front was finished by adding 5 faceted gems to the front of the card.

The inside of the card was finished using matts the same size as the outer ones but stamped with the butterfly stamp I had used for the front in seaside spray and the sentiment was from the same stamp set and printed in momento black ink.
