I am back with another project that I had the privilege of being taught by the super talented Samantha Hammond Donald Aka Pootles at last weekends crafty retreat.
At the retreat we made Christmas card versions but I decided to recreate it as a thank you card for this blog .
To begin with you will need several pieces of card stock and DSP
Card base
Cardstock 21x 14.85cm
scored on the long side at 10.5cm
DSP for front 10 x 14.35 cm
Cardstock 7.5cm x 11.85 cm
Whisper white panel 7 x 11.35cm
A piece of ribbon that is about 11cm long
DSP inner panel 28 x 14.35cm
Scored on the long side at 10, 12 ,14 , 16, 18 cm
Fold this into mountain and valley folds as shown above
Then glue into the card base as below
Inner cardstock panels x2 9.5 x 13.85cm
DSP inner panels x4 9 x 13.35cm
Glue these into the card as shown below
And add DSP to each side of the flap
Insert 1
Cardstock 8.5cm x 4cm
Whisper white 8 x 3.5cm
Insert 2
Cardstock 7.5 x7.5 cm
Whisper white 7x 7cm
Insert 3
Cardstock 8.5 x 12.85cm
Whisper white 8 x12.35cm
And a piece of whisper white to stamp your magnolia image for the front on
For the colouring I used my blends pens in light daffodil delight , light flirty flamingo and
Dark and light old olive
I then assembled my card with the sentiments and images to suit my taste
I hope that you liked my cased project today and thanks once again to Sam Hammond Donald for the original card project.
Love Kayla xxx
