Curvy celebrations starting with a glittery lidded box

This week was our online team event and it was based on the curvy celebrations suite

I was feeling a bit down that we couldn’t get together in person but Sam held an amazing event that made up for not seeing each other !!

Proving that #pootlersrock no matter what !

The suite is very pretty and comes with 2 stamp sets dies and 6x6 DSP

One of the projects we made was this gorgeous lidded box

Check out that sparkle !!

So to make the box you will need

1 piece of cardstock for the base measuring 6.5” x 5.5”

Score on the long side at 1.5, 3, 4.5 & 6”

And the short side at 1.5”

And 1 piece of cardstock for the lid measuring 3.5”x3.5”

Score all 4 side at 1”

Once you have folded and burnished your score lines I would advise to you your stamping so you have a solid surface on which to stamp your image

And to colour your image

To colour this I added some ink to a clear block and dropped a few drops of wink of Stella to the ink and use the wink of Stella brush to apply it to the stamped image and wow wow wow 🤩 that sparkle is intense !! The photographs don’t do it justice !

Construct your box in the normal way

Once you have made your box

is to make sure your lid fits perfectly every time is to construct it around the base of the box you have just made
