I felt it was Time to do a big tutorial so here goes
A curvy Album ! Thats curvy on the inside lol
In side I used the ornate dies to make journaling cards which i have popped into the tuck spots for the lucky recipient
So to make this Album you will need the following
2 pieces of chipboard or backing card measuring 4”x 4”
A piece of chipboard or backing card measuring 1/2” x 4”
A piece of DSP measuring 10 3/4” x 6”
A piece of DSP measuring 8 1/2” x 3 3/4”
2 pieces of DSP measuring 1 1/2” x 3 3/4”
3 pieces of Cardstock measuring 3 3/4” x 11 3/4”
A piece 1” x 11 3/4”
A piece DSP 1/2” x 12
Scrap card and DSP
To start mark the reverse of the DSP at 1” across the bottom and up the left hand side.
This will be the guide for placing your chipboard pieces firstly add a 4 x4 piece up to the corner of both lines then leave a tiny gap before adding the 1/2” piece then leave another small gap before adding the last piece Making sure you keep the bottom in line with your marked line
Then score around the outside of your chipboard or backing card before trimming across the the corners at an angle
Fold the paper round and adhere to the back of your cover
Add the 3 3/4” x 8 1/2” to the inside of your cover and put aside to dry
Next take your card pieces and score at 2” 5 3/4” and 9 1/2” if you want to have curvy or ornate edges and or stamping / embossing on each at end it is time to do that now
Add each piece of card to each other making sure you form tuckspots /pockets at the join of each piece of card
Next adhere your pages to the book cover making sure where you have added it that it forms another tuckspot/pocket
Decorate the book pages adding the pocket to the pages where desired.
Create tags / journaling spots and pop into tuck spots/ pockets
To create the belly band I glued the DSP to the card stock and wrapped it around my completed album and glued together before adding my sentiment which I had die cut and layered using the tasteful tags die set
