Poppies Sympathy card

Making these cards is never nice but Stampin’ up have made some beautiful stamps ideal for creating such cards.
I decided that #simplestamping was the best way to create this respectful card

For this card I used the Painted poppies stamp set for my imagery and the timeless tulips stamp set for the sentiment.
To created this card I cut an A4 sheet of thick whisper white in half and scored at 41/8” and burnished
I then created a panel of whisper white card measuring 5 5/8” x 3 7/8” which I then score at 1/8” on all four sides to add dimension to my card using my trimmers scoring tool.
I decided to mirror the poppy image on the card front and for this I used my stamparatus  and my silicone mat , Using my card face as a guide I lined up my stamp taking notes of where I had put it then placed my silicone mat in place of my card front leaving my stamp in place I inked up my stamp with memento black ink and printed it onto the silicone mat to ensure I had a good image I re-inked the stamp and stamped it directly onto the 1st stamped image on my silicone mat the Stamparatus makes this a quick and simple task.
I then cleaned and dried my stamp without moving it from the stamparatus and laid my card front face down in the stamparatus at the guide points I took earlier and dry stamped the back of my card front this helps the image lift from the silicone mat. Next I removed the Silicone mat from the stamparatus and placed my card front back in face up using the same guide points as earlier thus giving me the mirrored images on the front of the card.
I then used the splatter image, stampin block D and smokey slate ink to give the poppies some depth
Before using the same block for my sentiment and memento black ink.

I hope that you have found this tutorial informative and ready to create your own mirror image #simplestamping card
