Poppies greetings card

After my simple stamping poppies card  I decided to step up the card and came up with the design below which I hope you like.

For this card I started with my Standard card base.
I then added a layer of Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 4” x 5 5/8”
Then a layer of  whisper white measuring 3 1/2”x 5 1/8”
To the whisper white layer I added the poppy stamp in memento ink and the splatter stamp from the painted poppies stamp set in smokey slate. On a scrap piece of whisper white I printed 2 of the Large poppy images and one of the smaller poppies from the same stamp set in memento ink as well as some of the leaf images. I then coloured the poppies in with my real red stampin’ blends and the leave in with my old olive stampin’ blends Before fussy cutting them out.
I mounted the poppies on the card using stampin’ dimensionals and fitting the leaves in behind using my multi purpose glue. Once I had mounted everything I felt the card was still missing something so using my wink of Stella and the memento re-inker I splattered the card to give it that final bit of dimension.

I hope you liked todays card and I have inspired you to make your own
