3D butterfly card

Hello and welcome to todays blog post !
Today I have created a card with a 3D butterfly on it for that extra WOW factor

To create this card I made a card base from Rococco rose card stock which I stamped all over using two of the butterflies from the Butterfly gala stamp sets in smokey Slate Ink.
I then added a layer of blushing bride measuring 2 5/8” x 4 3/8”
And a layer of whisper white measuring 2 4/8” x 4 1/8”
On the whisper white I stamped my sentiment in the bottom right corner in Rococo Rose ink
On a scrap piece of whisper white I printed the butterfly in rococo rose in 3 times.
Which I then punched out using the coordinating hand punch.
I folded each butterfly in half and using my bone folder burnished the fold.
To created the 3D effect you glue the separate half folded wings together using multi purpose glue and allowed to dry, before adhearing to my whisper white card piece.
I then glued my whisper white card to the blushing bride card layer
And before adding the 2 layers to the card base I added my ribbon piece and glued to the front of my card base
I then added a ribbon bow attached using a mini dimensional to add a bit of depth.
To finish the card front I added some wink of Stella to the butterfly wings and basic rhinestones coloured rococo rose with my stampin blends.

I hope that you like this card as much as I enjoyed making it .

Thanks once again for joining me

Love
Kayla
