Today’s blog is based on one I cased from Linda Parker
To make these particular boxes you will need
A piece of cardstock that measures 8 1/4” x 9 1/2”
Scored on the long side @ 1 1/2”, 3”, 4 1/2”, 6”, 7 1/2”, 9”
Short side @ 1 1/2”, 6 1/4”, 6 1/2”, 6 3/4” 7 3/4”
Fold and burnish all the score lines
Then up the base score lines (1 1/2”end) to the 1st score line
And punch holes in the neck using the 3 close score lines as your guide point
And add DSP to the long panels and the top panels
(DSP sizes 1 1/4” x 4 1/2”
1 1/4” x 3/4”
You will need 6 pieces of each size )
Your card should now look like the above
First attach the side pieces to create a tube
Then slowly and carefully line up and glue the base pieces together working them to get her in opposite pairs to create the base
You can now add a circle of card to the base for added strength should you need it
Fold and glue the top flap over to create the top of the box
Using ribbon tie around the neck of the box to draw in the box to prevent your bottle slipping out of the end and voila you have made a beautiful bottle box
I hope that you have enjoyed this tutorial and
I have inspired you to create a bottle box of your own
Love
Kayla
